Tigers Acquires WorldLink Perth

Tigers Limited announced this morning that it had acquired the operations of WorldLink, one of the leading logistics providers in Western Australia. WorldLink are a $50 million dollar company specializing in the movement of perishable and general cargo. 

Founded in 1999 by David Wilkins and Toni Glucina, WorldLink have built a strong platform in Western Australia with a reputation for reliability and service delivery. Both Toni and David will remain with the company and continue to lead expansion in the perishable vertical. "We have worked closely with Tigers for several years and joining the group was a logical next step for me and David.

We are excited about joining Tigers and becoming their arm in Western Australia” said joint owner Toni Glucina. David Wilkins shares Toni’s perspective and said yesterday "Tigers have significant coverage in China, the USA & Europe and we see potential in further cementing our already strong ties and leveraging the enormous future growth between China and Australia”

With the pending Free Trade Agreement between Australia and China I anticipate significant growth in the perishable sector over the next few years, particularly from Australia” said Andrew Jillings, Tigers’ CEO based in Hong Kong.
