Welcome note from Andrew
02 Nov 2018 - Hong Kong (CN)

We have had a busy few months at Tigers, spearheading new initiatives, investing in the continued development of our people, as well as realigning our e-commerce and fulfilment services to meet growing market demands.

We launched our second Savages Leadership Development program in January. The Savages program is an intense nine-month course focused on personal development and leadership. I am pleased to say that all the participants graduated after completing the final session held in Myanmar in mid September.

The emergence of increasingly disruptive technology and the accelerated digitisation and democratisation of information continues to be a priority for Tigers. Later this month we will officially launch SmartHub :Connect, our combined freight, e-commerce, and logistics portal which has been designed to seamlessly integrate and enhance Tigers’ extensive array of complementary global business services.

SmartHub :Connect will allow Tigers customers to link and integrate to most e-commerce systems and platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento as well as marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Lazada, T-Mall and Zalando.

The application also links to most of the top US retailers via our partners SPS and B2B Gateway, as well as a large number of European and Australian retailers. This includes retailers like Nordstrom, Target, REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Kohl’s.

I’m pleased to advise that our eTigers product continues to grow rapidly in Asia, Europe and the USA.

To cater for this growth, we recently opened a new office and e-fulfilment complex in Riverside, California, expanded into a larger facility in Dallas, Texas, as well as enlarged our Seattle facilities, to provide omni-channel fulfilment to high-end footwear, apparel, and outdoor lifestyle customers across North America.

In Europe, our Rotterdam facilities have also been expanded, while in Shanghai we have relocated to new facilities to cater for expansion. In Australia, due to the continued growth of our perishable business we will expand our Perth facility early in the new year.

Our focus on global processes will be a key element of our 2019 strategy along with the launch of a global sales leadership team.

You can read more about our latest activities and new developments below. And as always, if you have a question, do not hesitate to get in touch.
